There are lots of different story lines going on all at once and no matter who you are, you will be able to relate to at least one, weather it is about: a relationship, gossip, drama with the girls, a party, the issues students have with teachers, learning difficulties, home life, bullying. You will be able to find you self or your younger self as one of these characters. Relationship, the use of social media platforms for the viewers to engage with the characters to be more like 'friends' than someone you just watch on your tv. By having all these key elements the audience connect with the characters easier and on a deeper level and that is what the producer and writer wanted to do throughout the series.
